Secret Chamber

Break not my Heart,

For it is tender

Than the softest petal;

Yet I pretend

Smiling all the way

For reasons

None could fathom

Yet I pretend

For you know not

The abyss of my love

Silence is my language

At war and peace

You would not bear 

If you could read

The pain in my eyes

And so I hide

That is mine

Inside the secret chambers of my heart!

Reflexions

As Strangers we met,

Uttering the least of words, we devoured

The customary lunch at the pot of chips 

Slowly did amplify

The plentiful conversations

From Oh-Bam-ah to diving from the Sky

From war of the stars to the elephant temple

To matters of the heart

To Everything

Under the sun

And the sky

What do I forget?

Our regular strides from

The street of the State to the West of Madison

Or the countless hours 

Spent joking and bantering each other

All the numerous moments

With you by my side,

I reflect upon

Nothing but happiness,

Do I see

An ode to you

Debates countless

Joy knew no bounds.

Silent pain in my eyes

None to share with,

Eased my tears

When you held my hands;

Many a moment flew by

With words no more!

Like a toddler I,

Slipped from my tread;

Each time I did

You held my palm

Like a Father 

Holding a child,

Just learning to walk…

All the love and your hands

Guide me ever,

No matter we are oceans apart

When your thoughts fill me

Joy creeps in

Bliss I find!

Agony and despair 

Melt away like a drop of ice.

Oh where would I be 

If I did not see you in this life

I'm sure you would have come 

As my saviour in my next

I'm now ready

To take on the world
